August 2022 - current

●  Led a group designers tasked with addressing a growing concern over real users’ confusion when using Marble’s website and mobile app. Through varied strategies of research, we learned that the Lease Generation process was a main blocker and needed to be reevaluated and redesigned.

●  Leveraged UX principles of affinity mapping, user flow, personas to inform our design decisions. From sketching, to wireframing, to high-fidelity prototype, I created all UI elements and deliverables.

●  Organized and led meetings with the client and stakeholders throughout the design process as well as kept close collaboration with the client’s engineering and logistics team.

Lead UX Designer | Hinge | July 2022 - August 2022

●  Collaborated within a small team of four designers to develop a revised mobile feature. Researched vital business goals and values which were fully integrated into the project.

●  Developed a fully functional hi-fidelity prototype and spearheaded a presentation to company stakeholders.


Product Designer | Butler Hospitality | January 2021 - June 2022

●  Drove and directed user research and learned unique frustrations and points of confusion in our mobile app.

●  Proposed, designed, and introduced a proprietary feature on the Point of Sale system allowing users to interact with a chat function that had unique user flows addressing the most common questions. Significantly diminished user errors and bounce rates which directly led to an increase in repeat users and sales.

●  Directed operations for the West Coast division of start-up company which focused on connecting users with room service through mobile technology. Managed a proprietary POS system which serviced 11,000 hotel rooms and 53 hotel partners in the entire California Market.

●  Tested mobile, web, and POS platforms routinely for error prevention, consistency, and efficiency of use. Managed user experience while listening to user feedback and business goals from hi-level management. Organized weekly meetings with executives to present updates and solutions.

●  Managed P&L's, KPI's, and all operating metrics while organizing all forms of communication with upper level management and appropriate departments.

Guest Experience Ops & General Manager | Orchard City Kitchen | Campbell, CA | July 2015 – January 2021

●  Promoted from manager to General Manager after a proven record of elevating business goals and exemplary guest-centered perspective. Became one of only four GMs in the entire San Francisco South Bay Area recognized by the Michelin Guide for exceptional guest experience.

●  Displayed a recognized aptitude for increasing yearly growth in customer/user experience using review metrics from POS software and feedback systems. Directly resulted towards year over year increase in revenue and company valuation. First year of employment showed a yearly revenue of $4.8m and within four years I grew the restaurant's annual revenue by 60%.
